    TRENTON–William Crue Jr., 74, died Sunday at Mercer Medical Center.
    Born in Trenton, Mr. Crue was a lifelong resident. He was employed by the Lawrence Hose Co. for 38 years and retired seven years ago.
    He was a former member of the Trenton Emergency Rescue Squad.
    He is survived by his wife, Violet Malkowski Crue; two sisters, Gertrude Young of Levittown, Pa, and Dorothy Wyckoff of Trenton; a brother, Russell Crue of Hamilton; a stepson, Robert Malkowski of Virginia Beach, Va.; three stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
    Cremation will be Wednesday morning at the Ewing Crematorium at the convenience of the family.
    Calling hours will be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Riverside Memorial Chapels, 1009 Whitehead Road Extension, Ewing.
    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 852 Broadway, W. Long Branch, N.J. 07764 or to the American Diabetes Association, Mercer County Chapter, 446 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, N.J. 08607.
