    Gerald R. "Pete" Durham Sr., 79, Kokomo, died 4:03 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at Howard Regional Health System. He was born April 6, 1925, in Howard County, a son of George E. and Ruby Durham. On Nov. 17, 1946, in Kokomo, he married Agnes (O'Hara) Durham, and she passed away April 6, 1984.
    He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired in 1988 after 32 years at Delco Electronics, where he was a supervisor.
    He was a member of UAW Local 292 and also had served with the Civil Defense in 1959. He was an avid fisherman.
    Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald Jr. and Diane Durham, Kokomo, Robert and Maria Durham, Arizona, and George and Tammy Durham, Kokomo; a daughter, Libby Dunn, Knoxville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren Michael and wife Tina Durham, Anthony Durham, Shane and wife Virginia Durham, Shawn Durham, Lindzie Durham, Skyeler Durham, Kiana Durham, Paul Durham, Allen Durham and George Durham; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers; one sister; and his best friend, Bob Dick.
    Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with the Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Calling is 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Taylor Township Fire Department or to a charity of the donor's choice.
