John Durham Dead. / Aged Inmate of the County Infirmary Died Very Suddenly.
  John Durham, one of the aged inmates of the county infirmary, died Thursday morning at 6 o'clock, his death being of a nature that was very sudden. Mr. Durham had been an inmate of the place for about three years and was eighty-five years of age, he being one of the pioneers of this county, locating on a farm in the eastern part of this county in 1865. He had been married five times, the wives all being dead, except one and he was divorced from her.
  Mr. Durham had been in his usual health, although on Wednesday he complained to Superintendent Middleton that he was not feeling well and on several occasions during the day he made slight complaint. During the early part of the morning he grew worse and his death took place at 6 o'clock.
  The deceased is survived by the following children: William Durham, Wesley Durham, of Tipton county, Mrs. Will Pape, of Owen county, Mrs. Joe Moore, of Elwood, Mrs. Lee Webb, of Madison county, Elisha Durham, of Howard county and Mrs. Abe Collier, of this county.
  The funeral arrangements have not been completed, but it is understood that the burial will take place near Phlox.
