  Jay Durham, 72, Dies; Rites Planned at Windfall
    Jay Durham, 72, of Windfall, died at 6 o'clock Friday evening at the Tipton Memorial Hospital. He had been in failing health for two years and critically ill for two days.
    Mr. Durham was a retired employe of the Stellite Corp. at Kokomo.
    He was a member of the Windfall Masonic Lodge.
    Mr. Durham was born near Windfall on Ja. 29, 1899, and was the son of John W. and Mary Ann Berry Durham.
    His first wife, Mrs. Alma Dick Durham, died in 1956.
    Mr. Durham is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mae Smyser Durham, to whom he was married in 1964; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Ellen Beckerdite of Kokomo; a son, Carl Phillip Durham of Rochester; one sister, Mrs. Grace Fisher of Elwood, and one grandson.
    Funeral services for Mr. Durham will be held at 2:30 o'clock at the Pritchard Funeral Home at Windfall with Rev. Thomas Davis officiating, and burial will be made in the Brookside Cemetery.
    It was announced that friends may call at the funeral home prior to the hour of the services.
