  Born Dec. 6, 1929, Lois H. Charleboix died July 6, 2007, at Desert Regional Medical Center. She was 77 years old.
  A native of Los Angeles, she lived in California for 50 years and in Yucca Valley for 10 years.
  Mrs. Charleboix was a registered nurse with Desert Regional Medical Center for 25 years before she retired.
  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and tatting. She owned a ceramic studio for many years and also did leather work.
  She belonged to United Methodist Church of Yucca Valley.
  She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Howard Charleboix Sr., of Yucca Valley; daughter and son-in-law Linda and William Romatko of Yucca Valley; sons and daughters-in-law Howard and Kathleen Charleboix Jr. of Portland, Ore., and Allan and Holly Charleboix of Bend, Ore.; son Steve Charleboix of Kelso, Wash.; grandchildren Joe Charleboix of Washington, Stuart Charleboix and Becky Charleboix of Kentucky, Sean Charleboix and Shelby Charleboix of Bend, Ore., and Andrew and Tammy Romatko of Yucca Valley; and three great-grandchildren.
