  Mother, Daughter Found Dead in Bed In LaPorte Home
    LaPorte police today were endeavoring to determine if Mrs. Josephine Miller, 42, and her daughter, Joyce Miller, 16, 505 Jefferson, LaPorte, committed suicide in their home last night or whether it was a case of murder and suicide.
    The bodies of the two victims were found in their bed shortly before noon today by Mrs. Miller's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fitzsimmons, LaPorte, who stopped to call. A burner on a gas stove in an adjoining room was turned on.
    Police said the couple had been dead several hours as rigor-mortis had already set in. The bodies were left in the house awaiting arrival of the coroner.
