    George W. Parsons, 29, of 129 Genesee Street, died at 12:20 A.M. today in McKinley Hospital from a ruptured blook vessel in the head. It was sustained in a fight on Southard Street last Saturday night.
    It was first reported that Parsons had been attacked by two unidentified men as he was crossing the Southard Street bridge with his wife, Jean, at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night.
    However, a check-up at police headquarters revealed a report of Patrolman Edward Kelly that interviewed Mrs. Parsons after the alleged attack and that her story then was quite different.
    Parsons is represented to have been choking his wife at Southard and Jefferson Streets, Kelly reports, when Vincent Bundy, of 1406 Brunswick Avenue, intervened. Parsons then turned on Bundy and and struck him, the report continues. Bundy retaliated and and his blow sent Parsons to the pavement. Kelly's report also described Parsons as intoxicated at the time.
    Taken to McKinley Hospital unconscious, Parsons was treated for a cut on the lip and head injuries. His death today revealed he had died of a ruptured blook vessel in the head, Coroner Silas R. Bray announces.
    Parsons had been unemployed for more than a year. He and his wife resided with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James G. Parsons, 129 Genesee Street. They have no children. Besides his widow and parents, Parsons leaves five sisters, Mrs. Karl Schaum, of Roebling; Mrs. Arthur Dennis, Mrs. George Brokaw and Mrs. Harry Williams, all of Trenton, and Mrs. Conrad Gudbrodt, of Princeton, and a brother, Clarence J. Parsons.
    The funeral is to be held from his parents' home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Edward T. Weeks, of Broad Street M. E. Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, under direction of Ralph Thatcher.

  GEORGE W. PARSONS
    The funeral of George W. Parsons, who died Friday, was held yesterday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James G. Parsons, of 129 Genesee Street. Services were conducted by the Rev. Edward T. Weeks, of the Broad Street M. E. Church, and interment was in Riverview Cemetery, under direction of Ralph Thatcher.
    Bearers were: Julius Parishy, August Megules, Robert Schaum, Carl Schaum, Gottfried Gutbrodt, and John Ruffin.
