Kristine M. Pumnea
Portage--Kristine M. Pumnea, 45, of Portage, died Saturday, May 27, 1989, at home.
She was born Dec. 13, 1943, in Gary, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Durham) Quade.
She was the chief X-ray technican at Broadway Methodist Hospital in Merrillville with 27 years of service.
She was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Parish in Portage and also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also
belonged to the American Society of Radiological Technologists.
Survivors are her mother, Elizabeth Quade of Portage; one daughter, Patricia Pumnea of Portage; two sisters,
Karen and Kathleen Quade, both of Portage.
Services were 10 a.m. today at Nativity of Our Savior Parish; Father Joseph Ivans officiating; burial in
Calvary Cemetery; arrangements were by Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel; memorials may be given to Michigan City Independent
Cat's Society or ASPCA.
