Ruth B. Perkins
Ruth B. Perkins, 78, 129 N. 10th St., died Friday at her home following an extended illness.
Born March 12, 1912 in Elwood, she was the daughter of Fred and Pearl Baker.
She married Chester Perkins, Aug. 30, 1941. He survives.
She retired from Inland Fisher Guide Corp. and was a member of the Upper Deer Creek United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Vernard Skinner of Chesterfield; five grandchildren; and 11
great-granchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Upper Deer Creek United Church of Christ. Rev. John Rhodes
will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Copher and Fesler Funeral Home.
The church, located near Galveston, can be reached by taking St. Rd. 35 out of Kokomo to Galveston, turn west
on St. Rd. 18 at Galveston, go five miles west, turn south, go one mile.
