John B. Bowlby, 69, of 1735 East State Street, died at St. Francis Hospital yesterday afternoon. He had been
a patient there since December 20 when he was struck by an automobile.
Husband of Mrs. Mabel Parsons Bowlby, he was a retired superintendent of the Washington Crossing State Park.
Prior to being injured, he had been employed as a salesman by Ribsam's. He was a member of Mercer Lodge No. 50 F & AM.
In addition to his wife he leaves four daughters, Miss Ruth I. Bowlby of Washington Crossing, Mrs. Roland
Guilford and Mrs. Alfred C. Lawrence of Summit, N. J., and Mrs. Russell Rummell of Youngstown, Ohio; six grandchildren,
two step-daughters, Mrs. Raymond Mount and Mrs. Harold A. Peterson of Trenton; two step-sons, George and James Thomas also
of this city; seven step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at a time to be announced. Arrangements are in charge of Ralph Thatcher.

JOHN B. BOWLBY
The funeral of John B. Bowlby, 69, of 1735 East State Street, who died Saturday, will be held Wednesday afternoon
at 2 o'clock from the Thatcher Building, 986-88 South Broad Street. The Rev. Clyde H. DuBois of Titusville Presbyterian
Church will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening.
