Lincoln Boyer
Lincoln Boyer, 90, of R. 1, Whitestown, died Wednesday, April 30, 1980, in Riverview Hospital.
Boyer was a retired farmer, who raised Percheron horses. He had farmed in Tipton, Hamilton and Boone counties.
He was born Aug. 30, 1889, in Tipton County to William H. and Elizabeth F. (Spurgeon) Boyer.
He was married in 1910 to the former Margaret C. Smith, who died in 1925. In 1927 he married the former
Isabelle Durham, who died in 1975.
He was a member of the Sheridan Masonic Lodge for 67 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William J. (Betty) Davis of R. 3, Sheridan; three sons, William L., of
R. 1, Whitestown; Stanley D. of R. 1, Milroy, and Maurice G. of Grand Junction, Colo.; a brother, William H. of R. 1,
Kempton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A Masonic service will be 8:30 p.m. Friday at Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jack Terry of Eagle Creek Evangelical
Friends Church will officiate. Burial will be in Bethsaida Cemetery in Tipton County.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
