    HIGBEE, SHARON ETHEL, 42, of Smithville, passed away at home on July 17, 2000 after a courageous 10 year battle with breast cancer. She was born in Bucks County, PA, and was an area resident since 1959.
    She was a member of Emmaus United Methodist Church where she was active as a Bible School Teacher, choir member and Sunday School Teacher.
    She is survived by her husband, Donald J.; mother, Margaret B. Barnett of Port Republic; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Barnett of Port Republic, John Barnett of Moravian Falls, NC, Margie Foster of Smithville, Debbie Gallegos of Port Republic, Dolores Dill of Lincoln, ME, Robin LaBelle of Port Republic, Melanie Champion of Germania, Pamela Kellum of Linwood, Michael Barnett of Port Republic and Patti Wythe of Port Republic; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and James Higbee of Smithville; and maternal grandfather, William Gilbert of Largo, FL. She had been a special aunt to many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her father James D. Barnett, Sr.
    Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2000 at the Emmaus United Methodist Church, 708 E. Moss Mill Road, Smithville. Burial will be at the Smithville Cemetery, Galloway Township. Visitation will be from 7PM until 9PM Thursday evening and from 10AM until the time of services Friday morning. Arrangements by Adams-Perfect Funeral Home.
