Held For Jury / In Theft of Car
Edmund Chicaleski, 27, of 26 Sherman Avenue, today pleaded guilty in Municipal Court to the theft of a car
belonging to attorney James G. Aiken, an assistant Camden County prosecutor.
Aiken, who lives in Haddonfield, said the car was stolen from an East Front Street lot while he was in Trenton
for the Governor's inauguration Tuesday.
Princeton police arrested Chicaleski driving the car the wrong way on a one-way street at 3 a.m. yesterday.
Magistrate Cooper held the suspect for the Grand Jury and fixed bail at $1,000 on a larceny charge.

Man Fined $105 / For Taking Car
Edmund Chicaleski, 29, of Sherman Avenue was fined $105 in Municipal Court today on a charge that he took a car
without the owner's consent.
Police said the car, owned by Edward X. Lawrence, 27, of 685 North Clinton Avenue, was stolen from in front of
his house shortly before 2 a.m..
A half hour later Chicaleski was arrested in the car parked in front of a West Hanover Street restaurant. The
fine was levied by acting city magistrate Michael Travers.

Goes To Jail
Edmund P. Chicaleski, 29, of 26 Sherman Avenue is serving 210 days in the Workhouse in lieu of fines and costs
of $210 imposed in Trenton Traffic Court yesterday. Magistrate Cooper sentenced Chicaleski on charges of driving without
a license and taking auto without consent of the owner.
