Mrs. Sally Durham, 86, Tipton succumbed at 12:45 this morning in Tipton Hospital. Services will be held at
2 p.m. Thursday from the Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Mitchner officiating and burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after Wednesday noon.
Mrs. Durham was born May 10, 1878 in Nichols County, Kentucky, daughter of Charles and Armandy Campbell. She
was married in 1900 to Uly Pugh, now deceased, and later was married to Elsworth Durham, Dec. 24, 1938 in Elwood. He
preceded her in death also, Dec. 31, 1962. She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Survivors include a stepson, Paul Durham, Muncie; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Bess Heddrich of Frankfort and
step-daughters, Mrs. Cora Kelly of Kokomo; Mrs. John Gillem of Tipton County and Mrs. Charles Tidler of Tipton as well as
two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several step-grand and great-grandchildren.
