Dorothy Elaine Johnson (Dean) Age 89 passed away Sept. 26, 2002 in the Franciscan Care Center, Brakenville. Wife of the late Joseph E. Johnson, Sr. Mother of Dr. Joseph E. Jr., Marion Johnson-Brown, & the late Barbara A. Kellam-Williams. A devoted grand & great grandmother Also survived by brother-in-law, James King; sisters-in-law, Ida, Opie & Johnnie King, all of Wilm., NC. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Star of Bethlehem Chapter #8, OES, Post Worthy Matron, St. Matthews Grand Chapter, State & Jurisdiction of Delaware, Past Commandress, Suakim Court #54, Daughters of Isis, & the Honorable Past Imperial Commandress, Imperial Court, Daughters of Isis, Member of the Episcopal Church of Saints Anders & Matthew. Funeral 8 pm, Tues., Oct 1 at CONGO FUNERAL HOME, 24th & Market Sts. Viewing 6-8 pm, Masonic service will begin at 7 pm, burial Gracelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family welcomes contributions to the St. Matthews Grand Chapter, OES, c/o Harris Johnson Scholarship Fund, Rt.4, Box 590, Seaford, DE 19973.
