Carleton--Dora D. O'Neil, 87, a Carleton resident most of her life, died Tuesday night in Frenchtown
Convalescent Center, Monroe, where she had been for five years.
Friends may call after 7 tonight in the Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock, where services will be at
10 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Thomas P. Macaulay of the First United Methodist Church of Carleton will officiate
and burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.
Born Feb. 24, 1895, in Berlin Township, she was the daughter of Elisha and Louisa Driggett. She was
married to William O'Neil. He died May 30, 1966.
Surviving are a nephew, Harry Driggett of Carleton, and a niece, Mrs. William (Shirley) Scott of
Huntington Beach, Calif.

Services for Dora (Driggett) O'Neil, 87, were held Thursday, Jan. 20, in the Bobcean Funeral Home,
Flat Rock. The Rev. Thomas P. Macaulay of the United Methodist Church of Carleton officiated and burial was in
Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock.
Mrs. O'Neil died Tuesday night, Jan. 18, in Frenchtown Convalescent Center, Monroe, where she had been
for five years. She had been a Carleton area resident and a frequent Carleton visitor.
She was born Feb. 24, 1893 [sic], in Berlin Twp., daughter of Elisha and Louisa Driggett. On Sept. 29,
1929, she married William J. O'Neil in Elkhardt, Md. He preceded her in death May 30, 1966.
Surviving are a nephew, Harry Driggett of Carleton, and a niece, Mrs. William (Shirley) Scott of
Huntington Beach, CA.
