A very pleasant time was spent Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Alice Rebecca Palmer, 614 Chestnut Avenue,
when her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Durham, tendered her a surprise party on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.
The house was decorated in pink and white carnations. Dancing, singing a[n]d games were features of the evening, and
supper was served. The music was furnished by Horn's orchestra.
