Baby Dies. / Infant Son of Mr. and Mrs. Than Durham Ill Five Months.
Baby Charles Durham, the 13-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Than Durham, died at the family home,
southwest of Tipton on Road 31, Friday evening, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held at
Lamond's Friends church, one-half mile east and three miles south of Sheridan, Sunday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock.
Burial will be in the cemetery near by.
Baby Charles was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Durham, and his death is a sad blow to the young
parents. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Durham, southwest of Tipton. He had been ill practically all
if his life, and about five weeks ago was taken to the Riley hospital at Indianapolis in hopes that the physicians
there might give him relief. He was suffering with water on the brain, which complication developed when he was
about six months old, and no relief could be given him.
Last Tuesday he was brought to the home, where death took place Friday morning. The mother of the baby
was formerly Miss Lula Cox, of near Sheridan.
