  Helen M. Zimmerman
    Alexandria, Ind.–Helen M. Zimmerman, 72, 202 Chipaway Drive, Alexandria, died Saturday at Community Hospital in Anderson.
    Born Nov. 26, 1923 in Elwood, she was the daughter of David and Lenora Gavin Durham.
    She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in Tipton in 1941.
    She was a member of Our Blessed Savior Lutheran Church in Alexandria and the Alexandria American Legion Auxiliary.
    She married Don R. Zimmerman, Dec. 28, 1945. He survives.
    Others surviving include a son, Don Zimmerman of Elkhart; a daughter, Susan Foster of Alexandria; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Quade and Dorothy Durham; and two brothers, Harold and Eugene Durham.
    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria with Pastor Joseph Stark III officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
    Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Our Blessed Savior Lutheran Church through the funeral home.
