Mrs. Cornelius Perkins
Greentown, April 13.–(Tribune Area Special)–Mrs. Minnie B. Perkins, 59, wife of Cornelius Perkins and a
resident of Greentown, died at 3:30 o'clock Saturday morning at the St. Joseph hospital in Kokomo where she had been
under treatment for a complication of diseases.
She was the daughter of Elisha and Mary Durham and had spent her entire life in Greentown. She was a
member of the Congregational Christian church here and of the Pythian Sisters at Kokomo.
Surviving with the husband are an adopted son, Chester Perkins of Elwood, a foster daughter, Mrs. Sarah
Glassburn of Bunker Hill, seven brothers and a sister--William Durham of South Bend, John of Indianapolis, Delmer of
Greentown, Charles of Wabash, Leslie of Brazil, Ind., and George, Floyd and Mrs. Edith Hogue of Kokomo. There are
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Congregational Christian church in Main
street with the Rev. Everett Nixon in charge, assisted by the Rev. Edward Looker. Burial will be in the Ellis cemetery.
Friends may call at the home after 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

Mother of Local Man Does; Rites Conducted Today
Funeral rites were conducted this afternoon from the Greentown Christian Church for Mrs. Cornelious Perkins,
59, mother of Chester Perkins, of this city.
Mrs. Perkins died at the St. Joseph's hospital in Kokomo, Saturday morning at 3:30 o'clock of complications.
She is survived by the husband and the foster son, Chester of this city, and several brothers and sisters all
near Kokomo and Greentown. The burial was made in the Knox Chapel cemetery.
