Nathaniel L. Durham. Late yesterday afternoon, Nathaniel L. Durham died at the residence of his daughter,
Mrs. James A. Shaw, Lakemont Terrace, of disease incident to old age. Deceased was born on December 7, 1820.
He was a son of an old and respected family of Philadelphia, was prominent in secret orders and a most worthy
and intelligent man. He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. James Shaw of Lakemont Terrace; Mrs. William Gray
and Mrs. William Dorsey of Philadelphia. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. - Funeral notice, Altoona Tribune, 13 May 1905:
The remains of Nathaniel L. Durham, who died at the home of his daughter at Lakemont Terrace on Thursday afternoon
will be taken east on the fast line at 1:10 o'clock Sunday morning and funeral at Philadelphia. - Nathaniel was buried in Olive Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
