Smith Durham, 84, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2005, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital
in Port Charlotte.
He was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Dover, Del.
Mr. Durham served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired as a dispatcher for National Freight Co.
of Vineland, N.J. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1983, from Vineland.
Mr. Durham was a member of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 110 of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Fannie Durham of Port Charlotte;
a brother, Reynolds Durham of Millville, N.J.; a half-sister, Helen Morozzi of Vineland;
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at the Port Charlotte Chapel
of Roberson Funeral Home. The Rev. Suzie Grote, pastor, will officiate.
Interment with military honors by the U.S. Navy will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.

Port Charlotte, FL 33952; or to the donor's charity of choice.
