Saturday Rites Set for Sister of Tipton Woman
An Elwood woman, Mrs. Susie Smith Durham, 83, died at her home at 814 South 9th street, Wednesday. She
was the sister of Mrs. Dena Smith, 124 North West street. Last rites are planned Saturday at 2 p.m. for the woman
who was ill several weeks.
The body is lying in state at Copher and Fesler Funeral home, Elwood, where services will be conducted.
Rev. J. E. McCoy, pastor of East Main Street Christian church, will officiate and burial will follow in Elwood
cemetery.
Among the survivors is a brother, George Graf, of Sharpsville. Her husband William Durham died March
3, 1938.
