- Sherry's age in the census records: in 1850, age 36.
- The estate of Sherry Greenage was admitted to probate, 08 May 1855. Sarah Greenage
renounced her right to administer the estate and requested the Register to appoint John Moore
as administrator, 07 May 1855. The Register appointed Abraham N Moore and Thomas H Denney
appraisers, 08 May 1855. The appraisers returned an inventory of the estate, 11 May 1855,
appraising the value at $248.29. John Moore presented the first and final account of his adminstration,
20 May 1856, stating an unappropriated balance of $132.51. He presented the distributive
account, 20 May 1856, allocating the clear balance between the widow, Sarah, 1/3; and the
four children: Mary (deceased), 1/4 of 2/3; Amelia, 1/4 of 2/3; Louisa, 1/4 of 2/3; and
Rachel (deceased), 1/4 of 2/3.
