• News report, Philadelphia Inquirer, 18 Jun 1894:
  Killed at a Camden Crossing.
    An unknown young man of about 21 years of age attempted to cross the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks at Third and Bridge avenue, Camden, last night after the safety gates were shut down. He was struck by the 10:40 outbound train and instantly killed. The body, which was horribly mangled, was taken to the Morgue.

  Over in Camden.
    The body of the man killed by a train at Third street and Bridge avenue on Friday night has been identified as David Jamison, of Elmer.
• David was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, [Camden Co.], New Jersey.
