• Obituary, Press of Atlantic City, 21 Feb 1998:
    LABELLE, TAPOA FEATHER, 19, of Port Republic, passed away on February 17, 1998 in Port Republic.
    He was born in Wolf Point, Montana and was an area resident for all his life.
    Mr. LaBelle worked as an aisle attendant for Seaview Country Club, Tapoa had attended the New Life Church. He enjoyed snowboarding, dirt bike riding, fishing and spending time with his cousins.
    He is survived by his mother, Robin LaBelle of Port Republic, his father, Errol LaBelle of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Smokey LaBelle of Port Republic, his grandmother, Margaret Barnett of Port Republic, and a host of aunts and uncles.
    Services will be held at 2:00 PM on February 23, 1998 at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Main Street, Port Republic. Burial will be at the Port Republic Cemetery, Port Republic. Relatives and friends may call on Monday from 1:00 PM until time of service at the church.
