Frances O. Fitzsimmons
Mrs. Frances O. Fitzsimmons, 54, of 1501 Scott street, wife of Charles R. (Bud) Fitzsimmons, died at 6:15
this morning at the Holy Family hospital after an illness of a week and a half.
She was born May 27, 1903 in Tipton county, Ind., to Joseph and Alice Moore and lived in LaPorte most of her
life. Mrs. Fitzsimmons was married on May 19, 1928 in St. Peter's Catholic church here of which she was a member. She
also was a member of the Rosary society of the church.
Mr. Fitzsimmons is head of The Herald-Argus stereotyping department.
Surviving are her husband; her foster mother, Mrs. Ella Coleman, LaPorte; one son, Robert J., LaPorte;
four sisters, Mrs. John Everling and Mrs. William Avery, both of Elwood, Ind.;
Mrs. Dorothy Shaw, Markleville, Ind., and Mrs. Ivan Penz, California; and
three brothers, Wayne Moore, Markleville; Chester Perkins, Elwood, and Frank Moore, Nampa, Ida. She was preceded in death
by a son, Billy, who died in 1936.
Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Peter's church with the Rev. Theodore V. Fettig
officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Lake cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kelly Funeral home after 6 o'clock tonight and until time of services. The rosary will
be recited at 7:30 tomorrow night at the Kelly chapel.
