Riverview, Mich.–William J. O'Neil, 83, of 18037 Riverview St., Riverview, died last night in
Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton where he was admitted an hour before his death.
Friends may call at the Baker Funeral Home in Carleton where services will be at 1 p.m.
Thursday. The Rev. Charles R. Fox of the Carleton Evangelical United Brethren Church will officiate.
Burial will be Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery near Flat Rock.
He was born in Sewickley, Pa., May 15, 1883, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William O'Neil. He
married Dora Driggett in Eckhart, Md., Sept. 29, 1929.
He was manager of the Detroit office of the Federal Housing Administration until his retirement
in 1943. He had lived in Riverview for 11 years and served as an Army major in the munitions industry
during World War I.
Survivors include his wife, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A stepson, Glenard Neifert, preceded him in death, November, 1954.

Services for William J. O'Neil, 83, of 18037 Riverview St., Riverview, who died Monday in
Riverside Osteopathic Hospital, Trenton, were yesterday in the Baker Funeral Home in Carleton. The Rev.
Charles R. Fox of the Carleton Evangelical United Brethren Church officiated. Burial was in Michigan Memorial
Park Cemetery near Flat Rock.
Bearers were Richard Booth, Cash B. Herman, Max Day, Henry Reeves, Harry Driggett and Earle Reeves.
