Former Tipton Man Dead. / William Pape Died Last Night at Home in Owen County.
William Pape, age sixty-seven years and a son of the late William Pape, one of the pioneers of Tipton
county, died last night at his home at Patricksburg, Owen county, near which place he moved from this county several
years ago. His death was due to heart trouble from which he had been suffering for some time.
Mr. Pape is survived by two daughters, they residing at Patricksburg. He was a brother of Gus Pape, of
this city, and was born in this county.
The remains will be sent to this place and will reach here Wednesday evening. The funeral services will
be conducted at the Lutheran church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, and burial will be here. The wife of Mr. Pape
died last fall and the interment took place here.
