Mrs. Harriet C. Wilson, 28 years old, of 14 Roosevelt Avenue, Mercerville, was fatally injured early today when a car driven by her
husband, Harry J., swerved from the roadway on Hamilton Avenue near Nottingham Way, plunged down an embankment and overturned.
Mrs. Wilson succumbed shortly after arrival at St. Francis Hospital. According to Dr. Henry J. Majeski, assistant county physician,
she suffered a fractured skull and a fractured spine at the neck. Mr. Wilson was treated at the hospital for cuts of the head.
Hamilton Township police report that Wilson was driving toward Mercerville directly behind the machine of Albert E. Hutchinson, 19,
of 2500 Hamilton Avenue. When the latter made a lefthand turn into the driveway of his home, police say, Wilson pulled sharply to the side to
avoid a crash and drove over a six-foot embankment.
Fred Sharp, of 1611 South Broad Street, rushed the Wilsons to the hospital. Officers Applegate, Wood, Peterson and Cook, of the township
force, later took Wilson and Hutchinson to police headquarters for questioning.
Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Parsons, of 129 Genesee Street. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves four
sisters, Mrs. Carl Schaum, of Roebling; Mrs. Arthur Dennis and Mrs. George Brokaw, of Trenton, and Mrs. Conrad Gutbrodt, of Princeton, and a
brother, Clarence Parsons, of this city.
The funeral will be from the parlors of W. T. Saul & Sons, 3781 Nottingham Way, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be
conducted by the Rev. Herbert H. Neale, of Broad Street M. E. Church, and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Harriet C. Wilson
The funeral of Mrs. Harriet C. Wilson, of 14 Roosevelt Avenue, Mercerville, who was fatally injured when a car driven by her
husband, Harry J., overturned on Hamilton Avenue early Monday morning, was held from the parlors of W. T. Saul & Son, 3781 Nottingham Way,
yesterday afternoon. The Rev. Herbert H. Neale, of Broad Street M. E. Church, conducted services. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
The bearers were Carl Schaum, Arthur Dennis, George Brokaw, Conrad Gutbrodt, William Morrow and James Brailey.
